Britain's Olympic training for customer service efforts

Is a new campaign for London Olympic Games 2012 hospitality and tourism staff have been taken to train thousands.

1st training company YouGov found these people and that 73% of Brits think the country needs to improve customer service that comes as a new survey.

People 1st, hospitality, leisure, tourism and travel and customer service training program for WorldHost in London Olympic and Paralympic Games, the sector skills council, the first train will be the target of 200000.

Sharon Glancy, director of the People 1st Training Company says: “Businesses in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industry really need to step up and take customer service training seriously, especially if they want to take advantage of the estimated £2bn that could be generated from visitors.

“It’s not too strong to say that London 2012 will be deemed a success or failure on the strength of how well we welcome and look after our international guests and workers across the sector will be representing Britain on the frontline.”
