On Wednesday, the initial day of the Games, there was an early embarrassment for organisers at Hampden Park, when the North Korean football team was shocked to find the South Korean flag shown on big screens before the match.
After the incident, a statement from Games organisers LOCOG said: 'Clearly this is a mistake, we will apologise to the team and the national Olympic committee and steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.'
